The Canadian Co-operative Woolgrowers - It is now
written that all sheep leaving your farm must
carry a mandatory ID tag. These are available from CCWG in several styles. They also carry a great range of products and have a catalogue you can order.
Sheep Canada Magazine -A great informative magazine for sheepy folks with lots of
links and sheepy stuff.
Alberta
Lamb Producers - Lots of sheepy stuff and more links. Now available a Sheep
Management Module in CD or PDF format for all that you need to know about raising sheep.
A must read for all Alberta Sheep Producers.
Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development It is now Mandatory to have a "Premise Identification" for your farm. This can be applied for on this site. Also good information on the changes happening in the livestock industry and links to many other site. Also Mandatory (lots of mandatory in the industry now) to use a manifest for your livestock movements. Available for most auction markets or contact the above last two places.
